China University of Geosciences Wuhan and Kobe University Joint Expedition to the Kangri Garpo East Mountains will launch on October 10th, 2009. The expedition party will try to climb KG-2 ( The central peak of Ata Three Sisters; KG-1 6882m (Ruoni or Bairiga) ,KG-2 6708m and KG-3 6726m) .
中国地質大学(武漢)と神戸大学の合同崗日嘎布山群学術登山隊は２００９年１０月１０日に日本を出発します。この遠征隊はKG-2 6708mの登頂を目指します。(阿扎氷河(Ata Glacier)には三姉妹峰があります:KG-1 若尼峰(Ruoni 6882m)、KG-2 中央峰 6708m、KG-3 6726m)
This blog is open to inform the expedition activities during it's operation in the field of Tibet. There are over 30 6,000m-peaks in the Kangri Garpo Mountains , but no peak was conquered so far. The mountain range is so called unknown and closed to foreigners for many years.. Small number of explorers had been visiting this area in the past one century. Let's say, the mountains is unexplored .
このブログは遠征隊が現地チベットで活動中の情報を公開するために開設しています。崗日嘎布山群には30座を越す未踏の6,000m峰がありますが、全てが未踏峰です。山群は所謂未知であり、長年にわたり外国人には閉ざされています。過去１００年間、少数の探検が入域しているに過ぎません。未探検地域と言えます。
Kobe University has sent 3 expedition to the highest area of the mountain range. There are two large glaciers, Lhagu Glacier and Ata Glcaier. Kobe University targeted the highest point of the range, Ruoni 6882m in Ata Glacier and tried to find a safe and doable route around the peak, but they could not get it. During those expedition, they discovered two competitive peaks near Ruoni. The central peak KG-2 is a beautiful and possible to climb. If they will make the first ascent of the mountain range ,it will be a remarkable record of the history in this area.
神戸大学は山群の最も高いエリヤに過去３度の遠征隊を派遣しました。山群には二つの大きな氷河、拉古氷河(Lhagu Glacier)と阿扎氷河(Ata Glacier)があります。神戸大学は阿扎氷河にある最高峰の若尼峰(Ruoni 6882m)を目標としましたが安全な登頂ル－トを発見できませんでした。これらの遠征を通じて若尼峰の近くに同等のピ－クが二つあることを発見しました。中央峰のKG-2は美しくまた、登頂可能な峰であります。もし登頂に成功したらこの地域の歴史的快挙となります。
